Who am I?
Hi! I'm Shane, I'm french, 25 years old, and use he/him pronouns.
I graduated from ECV (Bordeaux) in 2022, and therefore have a Master in Animation. I initially specialize in Storyboard, but really like more illustrative work as well!

Art made for commercial use will be considered a special request and will therefore be priced differently

Do NOT use my work to feed an AI or use in an AI generator, I do not authorise it

Rights
I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to : distribution, reproduction, copy and/or use of images as samples for sales or self-promotion
Rights to the work you commissioned off me can be purchased at any time
I reserve the right to refuse any commission
Payment
While preferred currency is EUR(€), USD($) is also accepted
Payment is through PayPal
Commissions can be paid either 100% upfront or split 50% upfront and 50% (+extras if applicable) after final approval. Bigger commissions may have their price split differently
Do not send any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and explicitely requested you to send the payment
Commissions with a deadline are subjected to an extra from 10% to 50% of the initial price, depending on the commission type and date of deadline
You will be charged extra if you ask for more than 3 adjustments during the commission process : 5% per adjustment after the limit
Refunds
While refunds are not possible once the commission is finished, you can get one at other points of the process :
60% if I started sketching
30% if I started lining
10% if I started coloring
A 100% refund will only be issued if I am the one cancelling the commission OR if you happen to cancel before I started working on it.

Commission Process
I work with a "first come first served" rule. Exceptions will be made for commissions with a deadline.
If you are interested in commissioning me, please contact me via private messages on the platforms with a * next to their name on my home page (namely : Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr)
You can also directly send me an email here!
I will just ask you to title your email "Commission", "Commission question" or something akin to that, so it is easier for me to discern your email from others.
I will need, in that order : commission type, number of characters, and a few visual references.
Visual references can include character reference sheets, photos, even screenshots of my own art as example.
Playlists are also welcomed!
While I am able to work with descriptions, there will be an extra fee of 10€ if no visual references are sent.
If you can't find what you want in the list of commission types I offer, please send me a private message to ask if I'd be available and able to do your request.
Anything commissioned for commercial use is considered a special request.
If I agree (I reserve the right to refuse any commission), I will give you my email for you to send me your references in a better quality and go into more details about your characters/what you want. This will help me keep everything organized and in one place! It will also help me evaluate the complexity of your commission and let you know if you'll need to pay an extra.
When I'm sure I have everything I need, I will ask you for payment. You can either pay 100% upfront, or 50% upfront and 50% (+extras if applicable) after the final approval.
Bigger commissions can have their price split through the whole process (one payment after each step approval for example). We will of course have a discussion about it and see what satisfies you best.
Once paid, I'll start working on a sketch of your commission. When done, I'll send it to you so you can give me your feed-back (know only the first 3 minor adjustments are free)
Once the sketch is approved, I'll work on the lineart, then send it to you for minor adjustments.
Once the lineart is done, I'll work on the colors and/or shading, then send it to you for final approval.
Please note that the art sent for approval/adjustments (through steps 4 to 6) will be in poorer resolution than the final file and will be watermarked.
In the same manner, I will regularly check with you if everything is alright, in-between the approvals to go to the next step.
When it is ready, I'll send you the high resolution files through email (png image and a transparent version)
Your commission can take from a few days to a few weeks to complete, depending on complexity.Of course you can commission multiple pieces at the same time! They will be worked on independently from one another, in between commissions for other people.
